ARMITANA UAB HISTORICAL BACKGROUND 

ARMITANA UAB was established in 1992. Presently the company is operating one of the leading specialized footwear networks and owns such footwear stores as ŽYGIO BATAI, STEP TOP, SALAMANDER, TOPS, RENO, GEOX, CLARKS, HOGL and garment shops TERRANOVA and PUMA in Lithuania.
The company has expanded its market, and the stores of our networks can be found not only in Lithuania but also in the neighbour states. The company has set up the subsidiaries of SALAMANDER, TOPS, RENO and ZB SHOES networks in Latvia, SALAMANDER,  RENO, STEP TOP - in Estonia and SALAMANDER in Ukraina. Today there can be found near 100 stores throughout Lithuania, Latvia,  Estonia and Ukraina and the number of stores is constantly growing.

The staff of the company includes about 500  employees.

In march of 2006 ARMITANA UAB was selected number one company in customer service. Besides that ten stores of our network got into the best fifteenth in such category in different regions of Lithuania.

ARMITANA UAB EXPANSION

In 1994 the first footwear store was opened.
In 1996 the development of ŽYGIO BATAI network has been started. Over the few following years the shops were opened in five biggest towns of Lithuania: Vilnius, Kaunas, Panevėžys, Klaipėda, Šiauliai. In 2005 shops were opened in Alytus and Utena as well, and there are 26 footwear stores of ŽYGIO BATAI at the moment in Lithuania.
In 1998 the first salon of SALAMANDER was opened. Currently there are 11 salons of SALAMANDER in Lithuania, 3 – in Latvia,  3 – in Estonia and 1 - in Ukraina.
In 1998 the first shop in the capital of Latvia, Riga was opened and in 2001 – in Estonia, Tallinn.
In 2000 the first salon TOPS in Vilnius was opened, there the company offers a broad range of well known famous footwear and acsesories brands.
In 2000 the shop of grand RENO network, wich is one of the biggest networks in Europe was also opened in Vilnius.
In autumn of 2003 two additional stores of RENO network were opened. One of them is located in the shopping center of Vilnius (VCUP), another – in Kaunas (shopping center MOLAS).

In spring of 2004 the fourth shop of RENO network was opened in the FLAGMAN shopping center. The RENO network expansion has reached Klaipėda and Šiauliai.
In summer of 2003 ARMITANA UAB opened the first garment shop TERRANOVA in Lithuania. TERRANOVA - the italian fashion for tasteful men and women of different age, who like casual and sports wear. There are more then 300 TERRANOVA shops all over the World.
In 2005 CALLIOPE garment store was opened in the shopping center FLAGMAN which is located in the heart of Vilnius. This is the first shop in the Baltic States. This collection was created by italian fashion designers of TERRANOVA group.

2008 the first CLARKS, GEOX and HOGL stores opened in Lithuania.
